ROBERT LESLIE FIELDING
Be kind to everyone you meet.
You may never see them again.

Write to be read - be better than you need to be!

I hope to join the debate initiated by people like Bill Gates, on how we can improve what goes on in the classroom.  I have a new blog covering this topic.  You can visit it at the following address:- http://workhardbenicetoall.blogspot.com/

Please go to it and feel free to comment on anything that you find of interest.  As I said, it's early days yet, but I hope to add content to it soon.  Meanwhile, all the best of luck to you, whether you are a teacher or a student.  Together, let's make the world a better place by raising educational standards and by bringing education into the 21st Century.  But let us not destroy a lot of good work that has taken hundreds of years to produce and compile.  Rather than looking for 'quick-fix' solutions to complex problems, let's try to move steadily forward every day of our lives in the classroom in ways that will be long-lasting and beneficial to all, and let's be nice to each other while we are doing it.  Improvements in anything are all the better for having agreement rather than discord.

Let 'WORK HARD, BE NICE' be our watchwords for the days and years to come.

Many thanks

Rob
